PUBLIC EXHIBITION OF THE DRAFT COOLAMON SHIRE COUNCIL TRADE WASTE POLICY

Coolamon Shire Council has resolved to exhibit the draft Trade Waste Policy.

Councils are responsible for the provision of water supply and sewerage services in regional NSW.

Sound regulation of sewerage and liquid trade waste is a key component of the NSW Government’s Best Practice Management of Water Supply and Sewerage Guidelines 2007.

The government expects all councils to comply with the requirements of those guidelines.

In order to comply with the prescribed legislative requirements of the Local Government Act 1993, Council has prepared this draft Trade Waste Policy.

The draft Trade Waste Policy is on public exhibition and can be viewed at the Coolamon Shire Council Offices or online at here until 5pm, Friday 18th November 2022.
