Public Notification of Proposed Voluntary Planning Agreement Dennis Trading Pty, Ltd 2250 Rannock Road, Rannock NSW 2701

Pursuant to section 7.4 of the Environmental Planning & Assessment Act 1979, Council has received a draft Voluntary Planning Agreement (VPA) relating to a development application at the abovementioned site (council ref: DA 2022/05) for:

·         The installation of 3 x 2473 m3 grain silos for grain storage.

·         The installation of 3 augers.

·         Associated Heavy Haulage.

The draft VPA secures an annual monetary contribution of $4,000.00 for the funding road works for the Rannock Road resulting from the increased haulage on the road contributed to this development and limits the onsite storage to a total of 21,000 tonnes of grain or related product to be stored on the site at any one time. .

On 18 August 2022, Council resolved to give Public Notice of the subject VPA, in accordance with section 7.5 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 and Clause 25D of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 2000.

The monetary contribution provided by the VPA, if executed, will be applied towards road maintenance and upgrade works on Rannock Road, providing valuable public benefits to the Coolamon Shire community.

The VPA and explanatory note is on public exhibition for a period of 28 days and can be viewed at the Coolamon Shire Council Offices or online until 5pm, Wednesday, 21 September 2022.
