Roads Update

Road Works

Council would like to advise motorist that heavy rehabilitation, concrete kerb, stormwater drainage and road sealing works are to be carried out on the following Roads:

  •   MR240 Ardlethan Road – 2.1km road reconstruction has commenced.

  •   Orr, Bruce, Booth and Lewis St Coolamon – New kerb & gutter installation has commenced.

  •   Wade St (Canola Way) Coolamon – Stormwater pipe installation has commenced.

  • MR243 Canola Way West – 1.0km road reconstruction to commence start of March.

  • Mann St/Bredins Ln Coolamon – Reconstruction and shoulder widening to commence end of March.

  • Shire Urban Street Bitumen Reseals – commencing in March/April.

Portable traffic lights will be on site and motorist may experience delays up to 5 minutes. Please exercise caution, observe road signage and road conditions.

Road Conditions

Council would like to advise motorists that maintenance grading is in progress on the unsealed road network throughout the Shire. Please exercise caution, observe road signage, road conditions and drive accordingly.

Road Closures

 All Shire roads are open at present.
