Funding received for solar panels and batteries at five Council-owned facilities
Coolamon Shire Council is one of 58 local Councils across the country, that has been approved for funding under the Federal Government’s Community Energy Upgrades Fund to install solar PV systems and batteries on 5 Council owned & operated facilities.
The installations at the Coolamon Early Childhood Centre, Coolamon Sewerage Treatment Works, Coolamon Caravan Park, Coolamon Library and Allawah Lodge will increase Council’s existing solar generation capability ultimately resulting in emission savings and reduction in electricity costs.
