Celebrating our Early Childhood Educators

Wednesday 2 September marked Early Childhood Educators’ Day, an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the important work of early childhood educators..

Council is proud to recognise the dedicated educators at the Coolamon Early Childhood Centre and Ardlethan Preschool, who provide an important service to families within our community.

Every day, our educators bring care, patience and plenty of kindness to their roles, helping our youngest community members learn and grow.

Early childhood education is such an important service for families across Coolamon Shire, and today we say thank you to our educators for their passion and dedication.

Mayor David McCann OAM said Early Childhood Educators’ Day was an opportunity to acknowledge the valuable contribution local educators make to the Coolamon Shire community.

“Our early childhood educators play such an important role in the lives of local children and families. They bring an incredible amount of care, patience and dedication to their work each and every day,” Mayor McCann said.

“Quality early childhood education is also an essential service for our community. It supports local families, enables parents and carers to participate in the workforce and helps give our youngest residents a strong start in life.

“On behalf of Council and the wider community, I would like to thank all of our educators for the passion, kindness and commitment they bring to their roles.”

Council thanks the teams at the Coolamon Early Childhood Centre and Ardlethan Preschool for the important work they do and the positive contribution they continue to make in wider Coolamon Shire community.
