DRAFT DELIVERY PROGRAM 2025/2029 & OPERATIONAL PLAN 2025/2026 INC LONG TERM FINANCIAL PLAN

In accordance with the provisions of Sections 404 and 405 of the Local Government Act, 1993 Council has prepared a Draft Delivery Program, incorporating the Operational Plan for 2025/2026 and Long Term Financial Plan 2025/2035, detailing Council’s principal activities to be undertaken for the four year period 2025/2026 to 2028/2029.

The Delivery Program is intended to set the direction of Council for the next four years so that the community’s needs and expectations are met in a planned, co-ordinated and cost effective manner.

The Draft Delivery Program 2025/2029 & Draft Operational Plan 2025/2026 are prepared in accordance with the Act, and include the following:-

  • A listing of the actions and activities to be undertaken by the Council, together with the performance measures for each activity.

  • A proposed rating structure for the year 2025/2026 to be effective as from 1 July, 2025.

  • A full listing of all fees and charges to be charged by Council for the 2025/2026 year.

The Draft Delivery Plan 2025/2029 & Draft Operational Plan 2025/2026 is on public exhibition commencing on Friday 16 May 2025 and concluding on Monday 16 June 2025 and will be available for inspection at the Council Chambers, 55 Cowabbie Street, Coolamon during normal office hours and also available to be downloaded here;

Submissions in relation to any or all aspects of the Draft Delivery Program 2025/2029 may be made to Council at any time during the period of public exhibition.
